We are not your typical broking firm. Our team is not made up of ex-bankers and finance brokers; rather we have held executive positions within large privately owned property development businesses for over 25 years. We have been at the coal face in the delivery of many iconic mixed-use projects which has helped shape Melbourne’s skyline.

When naming the business, it was important our branding resonated with what we actually do. We are not interested in calling our business after a place, verb, car make, or an obscure acronym. Put simply, “Capital Stack” is the thing we think about each time we look at a transaction and is a fundamental component of any property development deal.

We take a very no-nonsense approach. Our job is to get our clients’ projects in front of the people who count! No matter how sophisticated or simplistic our clients’ businesses are, we conduct a thorough analysis of each transaction, prepare comprehensive information memorandum packages, then present to a select group of financiers who we believe are compatible in size and nature, notwithstanding the cultural fit of the client and financier also.

Andrew, (AJ) is the founder and managing director of the capital advisory firm, Capital Stack Australia.

Andrew prides himself on his long-term relationships and trusted reputation with developers and financiers across the property sector.

Experience counts. For more than two decades Andrew has structured bespoke financial solutions for numerous iconic projects across the Melbourne skyline.

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant by profession, has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and a Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance.

His dual skillset allows him the flexibility to source and manage capital for clients, and advise, structure and assist with acquisitions, feasibilities, deal structuring, business advisory, and treasury functions.

Andrew is a respected member of the Australian property development and finance community. Property is in his DNA, with family involved in an enviable history of involvement with property-related trades and services. Andrew gets the job done and prides himself on successful and profitable outcomes for his clients.
